Golf is a very special game, one where solely your performance determines your score. Few things are as mentally and physically as challenging as hitting the perfect golf shot especially with spectators. This unique challenge alongside beautiful landscapes draws millions across the nation to tee up a ball and take a drive. The Ryder Cup for the golf haters is a match play event held between the US and the EU that has been going on since 1927 (with a break for a world war). While, it’s not impossible for America to make a comeback this year, it will be quite the uphill climb where every victory is imperative.
While the Europeans win at golf this year, we are winning at everything else. Namely freedom of speech. We hold a deep reverence for our European Heritage. Which is why it pains us so very much to have to address the issue of internet censorship and UK or Israeli Leadership. Freedom of speech, information, and association is the bedrock of the civilized west. The first Amendment protects our right to say what is true. Our second protects our right as a people to overthrow our government if ever necessary to the security of our people. Unfortunately both the European and American Legacy is being threatened by savages and communists alike. To properly deal with any threat one must be able to annunciate it clearly and concisely. Think of an X post. Usually a snippet of a thought. But those snippets often say more than entire dissertations.
The push on behalf of Israel and Europe to continue censorship efforts online is antithetical to the American vision for the future.
Lawfare and public perception has always been the game.
Not to get into a historical debate, but…
Hitler did actively try to peacefully remove the jews from Germany and was prevented from international pressure. But what do I know. I’m just some ai bot or something.

Regardless who wins the Ryder cup this year, it’s nice to note we historically still have more victories than Europe. Plus we will have more victories in the future. If covid had any positive effect, it was getting people to touch grass and golf. While the Europeans deserve the commendation If they win this tournament, they also certainly deserve a kick in the knickers for abandoning the principle of freedom of speech.
